Meet Sebulan Dulay, master weaver of the Lang Dulay T’nalak Weaving Centre, carrying forward generations of Tboli weaving knowledge and the legacy of her late mother-in-law, National Living Treasure Lang Dulay.

Meet Sebulan Dulay, the esteemed master weaver of Lang Dulay T’nalak Weaving Centre. With over 60 years of weaving expertise, she proudly carries on the legacy of her late mother-in-law, Lang Dulay, a revered national figure and recipient of the prestigious 'Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan' (GAMABA) from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Lang Dulay, a princess of the Tboli and a celebrated dreamweaver, passed on her intricate techniques to Sebulan, who now continues the tradition with unparalleled skill and passion.
Beyond her mastery of T’nalak weaving, Sebulan is a multi-talented individual. She's not only a gifted musician proficient in playing Tboli instruments like the 'hegelung' and 'kulintang' but also excels in 'smagi' and embroidery. Despite facing personal challenges, including the loss of two daughters, Sebulan remains steadfast in her dedication to preserving the rich cultural heritage of T’nalak.
Today, alongside her son Charlie, who manages the Lang Dulay T’nalak Weaving Centre, they carry forward the tradition, ensuring that the art of weaving transcends generations and genders. Their commitment to excellence and tradition is a testament to the enduring spirit of the Tboli people.
